ELIZABETH ARDEN

Elizabeth Arden is a cosmetics and perfume firm founded in 1910 by Canadian Florence Nightingale Graham. In that same year the first beauty salon opens. Arden believed that beauty was not just makeup, but a cooperation between science and nature, she was the first in the world of cosmetics to train and teach women how to apply makeup.

By 1929, the firm owned some 150 luxury salons in the United States and Europe. Since 1989, they launched their first line of perfumes and in 1990 Arden put the first single-dose capsules for skin care on the market.
