JUICY COUTURE
Juicy Couture is an American brand whose perfume line stands out for its sweet-floral profiles and a glamorous and youthful style, with hits such as Viva La Juicy and Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum. The perfumery takeoff came in 2007 with the launch of Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum, created by perfumer Harry Fremont.
History and positioning
Founded in California by Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, its origins date back to the late 1980s with maternity wear and then basic T-shirts, before expanding into sweatshirts and sweatpants under a premium "Couture" approach. In the mid-2000s it gained global recognition and was acquired by Liz Claiborne, and its aesthetic mixes sporty, edgy and a touch of late 90s retro.
Juicy Couture Perfumery
In 2007 they launched Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum and Parfum, described as "something Barbie would wear" by perfumer Harry Fremont. The perfumery became one of their main sources of income, with multiple commercial successes.
